This week we saw some questionable drain lines. Check them out so you know what to look for!

Not sure how to rotate the photos yet on here- apologies.
PVC is a great option, and most commonly used for today’s drain stacks. However, this material should not be used as a repair to a vertical cast iron stack…there is simply too much weight above it to hold. So if you see this, call a plumber.
PVC drain lines are great, because usually you can clean/repair them yourself. However, if you ever see the drain line looped twice like this one, you will again need to call that plumber.
